The course
A 470 m descent through the village streets, from rue Saint-Joseph to the lavoir: bends, a speed bump, a “pool” and a ramp.
The start is at the top of rue Saint-Joseph; the finish line is at the lavoir (wash-house), near the care home. Around 470 metres downhill, 31 metres of drop and an average 6.5% gradient: curves, straights, one speed bump, a “pool” and a starting ramp. The course is indicative and may change up to race day.
The descent runs on a circuit fully closed to traffic, marked out and secured with straw bales, barriers and inflatable pads. A pedestrian path runs alongside the track: settle along the course to cheer the crews on, with food and entertainment close by.
